Competition task number 5. White to move draws.
In a study from the late 19th century, White plays without an entire rook (!), but thanks to an impressive forced manoeuvre manages to save the game. Will you succeed in finding the solution? (After all, the motto given above and the little drawing accompanying it are definitely not there by chance ?) !)

Unknown study for experts!
For players of master level, the previous task was if not exactly a walk in the park, then at least an easy job! However, if you want to puzzle more and more intensively, then this is just for you intended for the following study!

The fate of the second position before us is so complex and eventful that the author dares to doubt its fame and recognition or even (deserved!) glory among the composers themselves.

Let us repeat: The premium study, including all relevant branches, is incomparably more complex than the first competition task, but thoughtful solvers can manage it also on the basis of analogy!
